if youre struggling why not consider a trip to chelford market (not far from knutsford), we got the ducks there and we had to basically 'order' them off a guy as he mainly dealt in chickens. he's there every week and comes up from the south.
its on every monday, i'd suggest getting there between 9 and 10 to see lots of birds, as its a market your meant to register as a bidder to buy, which we didnt know, but, he did us the deal just outside the market after he'd packed up for the day.
