... broken paving slabs?  Strange question maybe ut it seems a waste to throw them down the bank.  They're not in that many pieces, mainly just halves.

Path?  break them up a bit more for crazy paving?  break them up a bit more to build a little wall, or if not many a small planter?

Ah, beaten by the bell!!!

Piece together as a base for a shed?  You know you need another shed  :nowink:, but the base doesn't have to be pretty......

build them into a rockery, leave spaces on top of some to sit plant pots, and in the earthy patches between plant alpines?

I've thought of most of the above already, but thanks anyway for your replies.  I've asked on site if anyone wants them but nobody's interested, surprise surprise.  The crazy paving's a decent idea but I already have neat un-crazy paving that I quite like.

I might opt for the using it for borders or something.

I've decided on something more orighinal..  We're allowed to have fires on our site starting in October so I'm going to build a big furnace / enclosure sort of thing with them.  The burning bins tend not to last very well and rust away.

Just a word of warning!

If your slabs are made of concrete I wouldn't have any heat applied to them, i.e. as a base for a fire. When concrete gets too hot it slowly expands until it "explodes". Could possibly be a tad dangerous!
