Garlic 'flowers'....
« on: December 27, 2012, 10:43 »
I have a dozen or so very small garlics that I lifted following last year's dismal crop.

They still have their "flowers" on them and I notice that the dried flowers contain what appears to be small cloves.

Can I use these to propagate new garlics in the coming year?

They're called bulbils and can indeed be grown on, but they won't be ready next year!

This is a Canadian site, but gives very clear instructions.
