Is it too late or can anyone recommend a source of cheap raspbery canes? Don't need a large quantity - only 5-10. Thanks for suggestions!

I got some red currants in 'Poundstretchers' last week. They also had black currants, blackberries, raspberries and gooseberries. £1.99 each.

Don't know the type but at that price I'm willing to give them a go.
Try to be organic but will use black fly killer and a few slug pellets if desperate.

Woolies have some on sale
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

I can vouch for the pound stretcher ones. Got them last year and had loads of fruit off them. Think they were £1.99 for 3 canes.

I got some from Aldi in a pack called "soft fruit selection".  There were supposed to be 3 raspberry canes, 1 tayberry cane and a blackcurrant cane.  In reality though there were more like 5 raspberry canes.   :D

The pack was £1.99
