Im planning on making some to accompany Christmas dinner, does anyone have any tips to make it extra special? :)

When you boil up the fruit add a few cloves to give it an extra Christmas flavour and smell.  Make sure you take the cloves out before finishing it though, don't want people breaking their teeth!  Also, I usually stir in a good few tablespoons of port before I bottle it.
Also, as I always have plenty of redcurrants in the freezer from our prolific bushes I make redcurrant sauce instead of cranberry.  It tastes so much better knowing it was homegrown!
