I have 16.5mm outside over all diameter of outer sheath SWA cable running into the greenhouse. However the clips seem to be sizes rather than outer dia. I think I need size 7 cleats can anyone confirm this as I can't find any clear info as they all seem to work off the mm2 of copper.

size 7 is correct. Please ensure that you install a 30ma RCD on this circuit.
