Title: New Newbie
Post by: BlueThumb on July 06, 2020, 08:38
Hi EveryOne
Just joined last night, thought i would introduce myself,Having gone from Full Time to Part Time work at 60, i have now gone into retirement at 63, so with more  time on my hands, have started to enjoy the garden more, especially with the Lock Down. Although i don't know a great deal about gardening,i am finding it a great interest, and a way of slowing down the pace of my life, that i was not used to,as being a Professional Driver i was always chasing Time.
ANYHOW I am Looking forward to reading Posts from you learned folk ,and probably making a few posts along the way for HELP,and ADVICE. :(
best regards

Welcome, Tony.

Sounds like you’ve made some good choices recently.

Hi and welcome,

I retired 2 years ago and taking on an allotment was the best choice - the other one was interfering with my wife's routine (she had retired a few years before).  So it really was the only sensible choice. :-)

Lots of tips on here, often people pose a question that helps.
