banana rum loaf

i got a book using condenced milk , got it from a charity shop it had this lovley recipe in it ive also done some chocolate hazelnut cookies very nice , theres some great recipes in it .

Yum!  I love using up old banana's to make a loaf but I didn't consider adding Rum  :ohmy:

yes i will do the recipie but you can get all the recipes on the condenced milk web site as well
i put the rum in but its not very strong and wished i had put in more .

If the recipes are on the website, it'll be far easier to put a link up to it, than type it all out  ;) :D

Thanks Chrissie, I'll make this recipe tomorrow evening and let you know how it goes down.  Its a colleagues final day before retirement on thurs so this will be perfect.  I'll try 2 or 3 tablespoons of Rum to give it a bit more kick  :D

if you like the rum i would add a touch more as i didnt think it was very strong , i also did the cookies with the chocolate and hazelnuts which were great but the nuts i had were not very nice , i tryed them and the ones i ate were good but there must have been a couple of dodgy ones in there ,

no i didnt but will be trying it , i had just bought the packet i usuall try a couple just incase i  think i prefer brazils to hazel nut myself and at asda you can get very small packs for 60 p i usually get for when i need them and you carnt try them all everyone liked the cookies so maybe it was just my biscuit  :ohmy:got the other half of the dough in the freezer so we will seee when they are done .thanks for the tip

my pleasure , just finished mine popped into the toaster bag was very nice .
yours looks very scrummydid you add extra rum , have you checked out the other recipies on the site for condenced milk , saw a spring fields add they had a huge can for a pound , ive got loads in from different sos to see whos got the best
