In the part of my plot where I planted my sweetcorn and minipop seeds, I obviously missed a few pesky grass roots, and they have started springing up, and I don't want to pull them up in case they are the seedlings!
Is there an easy way to tell the difference? I don't have a picture to post but will try to get one later as I'm sure that will help.

cannot you tell from the spacing........did you plant in a block 18 ins apart or something like that ;)

I did, but I'm convinced that some of it is sweetcorn and some is grass. I know it should be that simple, and there are bits that are out of the rows that I can get shot of easily, but its the bits that have actually grown in the rows I'm having difficulty identifying...

suggest u wait a little longer and see how it grows...u will be able to identify better then

That's what I was originally thinking, but if it's couch grass I didn't want it to get too out of hand. oh well...

I think the leaves on the sweetcorn are wider than grass leaves.
