Good point, but should be aware, apparently, Levingtons compost contains similarly deadly chemicals for bees and other organisms.

Levingtons gets flagged up as being the best quality too. So, what's in it to kill bees? I'd hate to think I'd been responsible for killing bees

Also used for soil treatment, and seed treatment and is value added to some compost, I don't know how many types  contain it.

The mad thing is like you treat your beans for weevils, to poison the bees that would pollinate them.

Some blokes at our site put parafin in their weedkiller and spray that stuff everywhere!!  There were pools of water with it in and in 1 hour I found 4 or 5 dead birds!!!

     That's shocking!    They should be shot for doing that. Or fed paraffin to see how they like it.

The birds might be tragic and the parrafin is yuk, but the important thing here is that bees are a primary pollinator of all sorts of stuff we grow or eat, if we keep killing them, we won't have much to eat. End of story...

Looks  and sounds nothing - as it represents itself in nothingness - but is much more important than any other chemical scares, threats, etc.

I dont want to stand up for farmers, but they use approved fertilisers. Government and their scientists are often at fault. Science isnt always exact and doesnt take into account all the variables. Nothing against scientists either, but government is another thing.
