greenhouse wheels
« on: February 05, 2019, 16:11 »
Hi
not sure if this is the right place to post this issue. Have inherited an old greenhouse no idea of make and i need new wheels for the door. One is missing but Ive measured the one that is left and its 25mm but there don't appear to be any of that size on line its 22 or smaller or 28mm. Any suggestions as to whether to go large or the smaller size before I buy the wrong ones
Thanks in anticipation

Have you tried the Green House people.

Here is a link to somebody that had similar problem https://www.greenhousepeople.co.uk/products/2544/sliding-door-roller-assembly-pair-16-8013/

Measure the gap the wheel goes into on the frame

Hi
thanks for your replies. Ive gone with a slightly bigger wheel. I think the greenhouse is quite old as the sliding door set up appears different to may modern ones. So fingers crossed for when the new wheels arrive!!

hello it could be a Eden greenhouse the wheels look like the one on mine  I got replacement ones from my local garden centre they were made by a company called ALM there were 4 sorts small black plastic ones larger grey ones with bearings and white ones like the ones you show I did find white ones with bearings but the mounting holes have to be re drilled for larger bolts  jezza

Hi Jeeza
you are right it is indeed an Eden Greenhouse called Acorn.
I bought the wheels and had some very helpful advice (when I couldn't get the door to fit ) off Paul Bentley who runs West Yorkshire Greenhouse Spares on Ebay.

Would recommend if anyone needed anything
