Title: What have I grown?!!
Post by: cc on February 27, 2021, 14:33
These popped up about a month ago. Don't remember planting them. They are in 3 nice straight lines. They are in bunches. I assume I must have planted them.

Garlic? Planted last year but not harvested, or did you plant some before Christmas and forgot about them?

No sign of flowers. They were not packed tightly together!

Reference garlic. They are not tight tight together or are they?? The leaves of garlic (that I know are garlic) look different. But garlic does seem the obvious. I may just leave them as I can't think of hand what I was going to put there. Thanks

My instinct is garlic as well. Maybe you put some old garlic in your compost heap?

Garlic it is then!
But 3 straight lines so I must have planted them. Need to write these things down.
Thanks all

It should be easy to identify if it's garlic from the smell?  Try giving the leaves a rub.

Correct, although I tasted it.
