stella cherry

Help

I'm new to the site and forums so here goes.  I planted a cherry tree last year at my allotment, all was well.  Now the fruit had dried up and dropped off, i have been unable to water for the past 2 weeks.  The leaves are being attacked by something i can't find, the edges and the whole leaf is being eaten, very small holes giving a ragged look but not lace like.
