Pooh sticks but not as we know it1
« on: February 20, 2020, 13:59 »
Last month whilst having a sample of blood taken from my arm I was suddenly wanged a new NHS kit. I found it a bit of a disappointment because now I can't do a Smiley face in sepia mode!
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

I recently deployed the Mark2 poo-stick and found it even less fun than the Mark1 version (I'm sure my 'technique' would improve with practice, but not sure I'm keen to take that up as a new hobby! )
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older

I've been doing this for a while now, but I'm going to be taking the new model for a test run tomorrow.

I'm ashamed of myself. I know it's stupid but I just couldn't bring myself to go through with it. I keep meaning to contact the necessary and get another sent out but..........I think I need some help....

Seeing the lovely Julie Waters on TV last night, and knowing how a lovely chum here is just starting treatment, I wouldn't care if they used a telegraph pole with electrified barbed wire nailed to it, if it meant keeping away from what the alternative is...

I forgot my first kit, and when they moaned, they sent me another a.s.a.p.!

Then I found the original:0(

(That letter saying 'OK' is very welcome too)!

BR. When I finally ended my chemo and walked out of the MacMillan unit I saw a little sign that said "Carpe diem." These Latin words are telling you to seize the day. Do what I sometimes don't want to do and that is, tell yourself if you do it now and get it over with it'll all be over in five minutes or so. All you need to do is to bung it in the post box and heave a sigh of relief! If you have a passenger in your car and happen to f*rt on the way back, just blame it on the tractor in front who was carrying an unsafe load of pig manure!
