Garlic Plait

Just returned from my plot ( a MASSIVE thunderstorm cut my visit short.....spent 10 hours today delivering VW's in Herts and all I wanted was an hour or so on the plot !!! Why oh why oh why can't I get a proper job again, I'm only 45, a new employer could get 20 years out of me !!...Grrrrrrr !!!! :evil: ) sorry, rant over
Anyway - I dug up my garlic and it is drying in the shed....but is there a correct way to plait it like Johnny Frenchman does ?
BTW - Thermidome and Marco were the most successful with Christo and a supermarket one I planted for fun were very disappointing....both had small cloves and quite a few lost to damp/mildew.
