hey guys, i've not posted for a while. Had lots of other things going on :( but hopefully all back to normal this year! Good to see your all still posting. What i would like to know is? How long can you leave jerusalem artichokes in the ground for? And can you use them for next years crop. Has any one tried this, and if so did you have any success? Many thanks.

One of the good things about Jerusalem artichokes is that you can leave then in the ground all winter.

The tubers can be replanted as seed for next year. In practice there are usually enough small tubers still left in the ground to regrow and produce next years crop.

Be warned, they are difficult to elliminate and can spread.
