you should start your seeds now unless you want small onions.

yes mine have been in approx 2 weeks and are about 4/5 cm i have bedfords and utah jumbo white

end of april early may.sow in a tray to bring them on,once they have the second true leaf put them into individual pots or modules to carry on growing until april-may,i have sown them direct into the soil around april and they grew as big as golf balls,tasted ok though.

I'm doing maincrop from sets can't let Cook int' Big House down but I'm trying a small batch of Robinsons Mammoth from seed just to see if I can do it and what result I get

they need 10c - 15c to germinate if you can up that even better
