Hi Goldheim,
I've no more space for at the plot for beans, but could maybe do climbing bean frames at home what purple varieties do you suggest?. I have now got the orach and as for squashes I have a 1/2 plot reserved for them I was hoping to get 12 varieties in just have to decide out of 24 different varieties

There were a lot of vivid reds within the rainbow chard I grew last year and they tasted great,
I will be growing a couple of red beetroots as well as the white I have yet to pick up any golden types as I know They won't be the only seeds I buy

You can get aubergine and cauliflowers in all sorts of colours. The orange cauli is as appetising as a pink potato mash or a blue one.

I grew violet podded climbing French beans last year. They are tasty and very prolific. I grew 6 over an arch (pics on diary) and by autumn I was walking past them with my eyes closed 'cos I didn't want to pick any more!

If you want any, let me know. Comes in a pack of 100 and I grew 6...so I have a few!

I've grown "Blauhild" climbing French bean in the past very successfully.  The pods are a lovely deep purple - but they do go green when cooked.

Unless I missed it radishes have not been mentioned yet. You can buy colour / shape mixes of seeds (think I used ebay). They are easy to grow at any place that is not being used for a few weeks and look pretty in the salad bowl.

How about Quinoa? I'm going to try it this year and the seed heads go from green to red looking at pictures online.
