Did you cut them back? If not you will get a crop off of last year's cane's and also a crop off this year's. Best to cut Autumn cane's down to about 4 inches in early spring.

Fatcat has it spot on  :D

Can you add your locality into your profile please, Rosehip, as it will show under your name & avatar each time you post? It'll help as growing conditions vary a lot across our membership  :D :D

Perhaps you can introduce yourself in Welcome, too  8)

Thanks for the replies,i did not cut them down as they where still small plants.I though they would not flower until later in the summer.Do summer and Autumn raspberries flower at the same time? I thought Summer would be first then Autumn later?
I will to add location, when i figure out how :) im not great at computers
Thanks again

If you click on the little square baby face under your avatar, it'll open up your profile.

Upper left, then click on modify profile.

Choose Forum Profile on the drop down menu

Scroll down and see where your location can be typed in

Save your typing and there you go  :D
