OH said he wanted some parsnips planting in the concrete blocks with holes in them which we used to make our new raised beds this year. The ones in the old raised bed didn't quite "do" as they went woody, but this one has been harvested (with a lot of digging, pulling and new words whilst doing it). It's now been par-boiled and ready for roasting so whaddya think?

Looks great, I harvested this one & donated to my daughter to cook for me for Christmas Day, got a bit of canker but once peeled it was ok & plenty for the 2 of us that like parsnip ( I did send her the photo & ask if she thought there’d be enough :) )
Tasted wonderful as I’m sure yours did too, pleased you were able to get it out of the ground after your recent illnesses & hubby was up for cooking it
