Title: Sea food?
Post by: wolverine on June 02, 2010, 16:27
Just a thought but could You feed your chucks muscles and cockles it's not really meat and I see them as kind of snails or slugs of the sea world. Any thoughts? would the extra protien be good for the eggs?

I don't think chooks would come across seafood in thier natural habitat - therefore i wouldn't feed sea food to chooks.

But half of the stuff you feed chickens they wouldn't come across in thier natural habitat like brocoli, cabbage, garlic in the water, chicken spice, my point is will the extra protien be good cause it seems that we feed them supliments all the time that they wouldn't normaly find. if you won't feed it sea food why is oyster shell ok?  I'm not saying your wrong just wondering about stuff

Considering how often people say to give the chooks a tin of fishy cat food..... i cant see it being a problem.

I would be more worried about it being such a different sort of food and the fact that they are a bit salty :)  Might give them the squits :(
