I planed out my broad beans last week and today the look like they have some black dots on the leaves and possibly something has nibbled the leaves. I have had them under plastic and it has been warm , could they just be burnt?

They don't need to be coddled very much at all - did you harden them off? Being under plastic might have made them too "soft" so they could have chocolate spot (use a fungicide spray) and the nibbling may be pea and bean weevil - is it semi-circular and just at the edges?

Yes it is semi circular and egdes - what does that mean?!

It means that it's pea and bean weevil, but nothing to worry about, the plants usually just grow out of it
