just made some strawberry,apple and something red from the cupboard jam , and its not half bad , just hoping its going to set , need hints on marmalade mine is always too sweet and syrupy .

Have you tried adding lemon juice to the marmalade?  That might make it less sweet.  Do you use sweet oranges or ´seville´ oranges?

ive only used sweet ones , ive never seen the savill oranges here but i will try the lemon that should tone it down a bit , the greapfruit marmalede sounds nice as well .
