Title: Fruit tree grease

not knowing much about fruit trees my wife said we need to put some Fruit Tree Grease on them in the spring [Feb] to create a barrier to stop the bugs attacking the fruit

can anyone give me some  info on using Fruit tree grease relies very welcome

Hello what you need are grease bands if still available ,if not available you could make some,this how we use to make them,take a 4 inch wide strip of brown paper cut to the length of the diameter of the fruit trees tie the brown paper round the tree about 3 feet up the tree  with 2 strings top one half inch down bottom one half inch up  then smear the  brown paper with light grease all over to stop codling moth larvae climbing up or use pheromone traps jezza
