Sweet corn
« on: June 17, 2023, 20:20 »
Hi all,
Recently planted my sweetcorn out only to find the following day that they had been bitten off at ground level by voles. Very annoying but this evening I see the sweetcorn is growing. Will it produce a viable harvest or should I pull them up and use the space for something else?
Thanks.

Doesn’t sound good to me.
What about interplanting whilst watching the sweetcorn??
Keep digging

I did interplant with sunflower seeds. Hope they will leave them alone this year. Last year some of them got taken.
Have had a few potatoes and beetroot nibbled in the past.
Oh well time will tell.
