I've seen these on a few Ebay rotavator ads, what are they for please? Do they replace the conventional wheels for working along seed beds, or are they for creating seed beds?

   Amongst the many fitments specific to Merry Tiller brand are the regular Slasher rotors with curved/angled blades which are for deep general cultivation of land.

Then there are the Finger rotors...the tines of which are made from round section...these are for working down the top of land..their construction assists in them working the top down to a fine tilth in perhaps a stirring action rather than the slicing action of the Slasher rotors...
Suspect the Finger tines could tally with the ref to seed bed tines.??

The MT shown here has Slasher rotors fitted and Finger rotors alongside.

The above is with ref Merry Tiller brand...often the tines on smaller tillers are somewhere between the two descriptions...mostly being blades rather than round section...but a lighter section blade and sometimes not as rounded as those on MT...I suspect to operate somewhere between the above descriptions.

The ones I've seen look very much the same as those, so they must be for the same ting I doubt there'll be a set the size for a Flymo DM so I'll have to try and make a set
