one of my chickens laid some yolk today just the yolk by itself no egg i thought it may be because of calcium deficience anyone know any differnet and things to do so it doesnt happen again cos my poor chicken has been unwell all day, well anyway the other hens seem to enjoy the yolk and i have been to see someone about some more hens 11 in total mostly silkies but also a few banties think i am goin to get them plus there free woohoo

dont worry about the no yolker .its just  missed the yolk factory and the shelling dept and as long as it doesnt go on then its fine im guessing its a young bird,, incidently dont be letting the birds  to like egg ,they may well eat em all afore you get to them, introduce the new birds nicely and you should love the silkies
