I never thought the day would come when the older hens would befriend the new hens, but after weeks it has happened   They were all asleep under the same rose bush this afternoon

He certainly kept ´his girls´ apart and would chase the newer hens, even after a month of them being here   He (Colin) is still crowing at the neighbours, not sure how long for though.  The hens are much friendlier towards me too now Colin isn´t about,  one of the new hens ´sat down´ for me today  they stopped doing that when Colin was here
