Morning all,
Just a couple of questions about leeks:
1/ OK to sow now (am doing the cat litter tray thing) (Musselburgh)
2/ Does the tray go straight outside? (haven't got a greenhouse / polytunnel yet)
Thanks for any help.

yep they asre fine to sow now, they dont need any heat the germiante, but if i where you id put the on a windowsill until they germinate, then move them outside and cover with fleece!

Brilliant,thanks!

Mine were sown outside in a deep tray and put in one of those zip-up "greenhouses" but with the flap open because it was very humid in there.
First ones are showing after a week!

i sowed mine 1st march, there by the foil near the window at about 10-15 c .once germinated straight into cold g/house.grew loads to many last season so reducing the quantity to about 30. :)
