I'm afraid I don't know the answer but I'm a firm believer in ' there's no such thing as a stupid question'.  If we don't ask we don't learn.   :)

your vet should have advised you when prescribing it, however I belief most wait until a clear 7 days has passed before using the eggs. I have never used Baytril myself so couldn't be absolutely sure  :)
Staffies are softer than you think.

That was the advice I was given by the vet for baytril - 7 day egg withdrawal.
If worming with flubenvet there is no egg withdrawal - but a friend of mine was recently told not to give both at same time - first antibiotics - wait a week - then worm. (Might be worth phone call to vet to check?)

I was told not to use the eggs while the birds were being treated with Baytril.

kym503....I was one of those kids in school who never asked any questions in case the other kids laughed at me....now I'm the one standing in front of the class asking the questions and recieving blank looks!

I'm just glad you posted your response...I'm sure lots of newbies like me wonder if they should ask or not...

If unsure about anything to do with your birds you should always ask - somebody somewhere on here will have been through the same sort of thing - even if sometimes we do just tell you to take them to a vets. No questions are too silly when it concerns the welfare of your animals  :)

I was told by my vets Monday night not to eat eggs for next 7 days (as I was given baytril for one chicken).
