Hen feeding

I have been told that hens like cooked porridge and it is good for them.  Anyone know if this is true, I don't want to give them something that is bad for them.

they do like it when it's cold outside, just as we do. They have proper porridge with no sugar or honey on  :) Oh and made with water  :D  Make sure you allow it to cool before giving it to your birds. You don't want to burn their tongues  :)    I give mine their porridge in the morning when I have mine but I know some give it later in the day
