Hi there is anyone else in Doncaster having trouble with mink on there allotments , i had 3 chickens killed by these flaming things now

Are you sure they are mink and not feral ferrets? I supposr you are near to a watercourse.
 I take it you have seen the beast.
Trap or shoot may be the only way to go.
They are voracious predators

Hi yes its def minks caught one in my trap this mornin and been identified as a mink , trap set again for any more that wanna be brave

Maybe invest in additional traps? One trap = only one mink.

There are some on eBay, awesome things which destroyed my rat colony - alligator jawed or similar. They break necks instantly, and are tailored to bigger vermin ie rats, stoats.

I'll try to find link for you, they are effective and humane.

Hope you don't lose any more hens to these pests in the meantime.

You may be able to source them cheaper, but these are the bad boys you want

tried these before and as there was no proper way to fasten them down to ground watever they caught ran off with the trap lol , i got the big metal snap rat traps down now
