Hi everyone,

Thank you again for your encouragement.  Goose seems to be well-ish today.  Not fully recovered and much smaller than she was but her backside is fluffy again (not as fluffy but i suppose these things take time) and her face is redder than it was though goes white if she's upset, i think all of them do that though, not sure.  She has her down moments but is eating and drinking.

While she's been crook, she's lost her 'top hen' status, Duck has taken over and i've seen Duck take a swipe at her. Will have to keep an eye on that.

I thought about trying the cat food but we don't have a cat and haven't been to the shops since she's been crook.  I did try canned tuna in spring water, she was interested at first but not any more.   Fussy bird...  :D

Lina, we're lucky with our birds, they all lay in the same place but their eggs are different shades of brown so we know who's laying and who isn't, though Goose and RoadRunner's eggs are quite close in colour, you can tell in sunlight which one is darker (Goose's).  Hopefully she doesn't lay for a while and just builds up her strength. Which I reckon she'll do.

Thank you again everyone!

Thats good news. Give her half a calcium tablet, and some cod liver oil. I'm told that choox love grapes too as a treat, often used to hide a tablet/worming powder in. Keep us posted.
