If i am looking at eventually eating the chook's it it worth me having battery hen's or should i just use them for the egg's. It just does not seem right for them to be slotted after such a rubbish life

I could never eat y ex batts Jim, and I think they deserve better after what they've been through, but apart from that, they are skinny as anything!!!!   :lol:  :lol:

I think a 2 year old ex-batt hen wouldn't go very far as grannieannie said but would also only be suitable for stews and curries.
