Boston Freecycle offer of chooks...
« on: May 15, 2008, 20:05 »
just had a local freecycle offer of 8 hens (ex-batt) and a cock plus a coop and run with lots of chicken wire.

Thought I'd post this up in case anyone in the Boston area is after a full set up. If you want more details, go to the Boston+Skegness freecycle site.

I have no connection to the person offering, just want to give them as good a chance as poss.

I saw that one too PG!  If we had more ground that I could use, I would have had them !!!!!  But I can't give the WHOLE garden over to chooks can I?????  Especially with another 250 arriving mid June!!!! lol

I could get back to them with your email address. Do you want to PM me and I'll pass it on.

Can't imagine they've been taken by someone else this quick.

I've sent an email off to them. It might be worth removing your email address from that posting in case you get spammed. I've made a note of it now.

Hope you hear back from them. If nothing by tomorrow, let me know and I can try again. If not, grannieannie is also on the same freecycle group.
