whats the best feed for

bantams?

just looing to buy everything and get it all ready and just wondered what to get, i have found some pol and some thats not far off

the choices i think i have is layers pellets or mixed cosn.

is one better than the other? any bonus with any of them?

Mixed corn is not a complete diet for any chicken. Layers pellets is the best feed for them. Allen & Page pellets are quite small and very suitable for bantams, it is organic too. Mixed corn should just be given late afternoon for extra carbohydrte to last them through the night.

counting down the days till the bantams arrive

have you got your feeders and drinkers yet :?:

went to the Norfolk Poultry club spring show at w/e and obtained three feeders/drinkers for £5

as Auntie says layers pellets are the preffered feed.

Oh don't forget the grit

ok thanks as,

yes i have a 3ltr water, 3kg food one and 1.5kg food one for grit think they cost 10.00 for them all, i was happy with that!

the house is comming a week today so will get that up on the day it comes rain or shine!

the base is all down and set so its all go!
