Title: Best Bantams?
Post by: blulagoo on July 31, 2008, 11:07
Ok we have decided that Fidget the cockerel is going to a new home.

I have discussed with daughter and we would like a couple of bantams to replace him - any suggestions as to the best type? We have at present - 2 sussex, 1 ISA and 1 bantam welsummer so 2 more banties might be nice to keep the other bantie company.

By the way - anyone want to offer Fidget a new home? He is very loud so would probably be best in the country! Also not good with children but fine with adults and chickens.

Oh! How to choose - I'll have one of those, and one of those oooooh and one of those and one of those oh and I'd best have one of those too!

Don't think OH is going to be too pleased at that approach - bearing in mind he didn't really want chickens to start with. Althugh he spends an awful lot of time watching them out of the window when he is supposed to be working!!
