Title: keeping mandarin ducks

Hi, we are hoping to purchase some mandarin duck eggs to hatch, but we are not sure if these ducks have to be kept in an enclosed area or can wonder freely like our other ducks.

Any advice appreciated

They have to be pinioned or they will be off. They fly like pigeons.
