 the first lot were ok but I have been told they are better after a frost

Stop whinging all of you and just harvest the crops. if you want frost, just shove the veg in the freezer for a day or two.

No frost here yet either ... only started using the central heating in the last day or two.

I'm not keen to harvest my Parsnips before first-frost, but what about Salsify and Scorzonera - do they also benefit from frost? If not I could start on them first whilst waiting for a cold snap ...

we had a bit of frost a couple of weeks ago - had to scrape ice of the car at 7am.
Must be that global warming thing in Loughborough

I remember now - I was in southern climes, (Cornwall), at the time. That one never got the whitefly though.
