You'd need to cook it first then freeze it. I usually make mine into soups and freeze in individual portion containers.

I cut mine into wedges, coat with oil and spices and roast.
Then when cooled they are frozen loose on a tray and then bagged up.

I had a go at freezing them raw last year.  When defrosted they are watery but I still chucked them into a soup - not ideal though.

I'd probably peel, steam briefly then freeze this time.

I have not frozen squash 'nude', only as soup or in curries.  Works well like this.
