hi, my housemate had to rescue one of my chickens that had got wrapped in our netting fence today during todays high winds. she was tightly trapped in the netting and apparently after she got her out her wing was bleeding. though not bleeding really badly i want to make sure she'll be ok. she's a fairly tough bird, one of our biggest and always keeps the others in check. she went in to roost before i got home. do i have any reason for concern?

I'd just keep an eye on her wounds heal pretty fast on birds if not pecked at by others etc. :D

You can't beat a quick squirt of the old purple spray for occasions like this.

You can obtain purple aerosol spray containing antiseptic and or antibiotic. Everyones animal first aid kit should contain one. :thumright:

You buy it from horsey supplies shops.
