Here's our odd carrot.

this was from last year - I think it looks like a 'gummy' old man

these were belle de fontaney potatoes, and i think they look like a family of seals, to be honest it felt cruel peeling them for the pot.  first time ive posted a pic, i hope ive done it right.

Are you sure they're Belles?
They're normally fairly uniformly oval spuds and they don't need peeling - I wash mine and scrub lightly with a sponge scourer only.

But cute potato seals all the same

im pretty sure they are belles, they were next to the rattes, and they were long and pointy.  however i could be wrong

I thought this one that I spotted a few year back was a one off. Are there more of these beings wandering our plots than we think?
