At first I was a bit confounded that they wanted my dob but thought must be a survey to what age range applicants were.  But did they really think someone born in 1909 (first year choice) would still be gardening

Self-sufficiency writer Scott Nearing was out ploughing and seeding his garden when he was 100 years old. Sadly, he died the next year.

You may think that Wighty, but I know someone who is  102 years old this year and still has an allotment! He's amazing....and only got his first allotment when he was 90!!!!
