Title: Kiwi Berries
Post by: sunshineband on August 10, 2019, 14:11
I wondered if anyone has grown/is growing these? I bought one recently and plan to have it growing on some wires on a fence. It looks like a scrambly kind of plant rather than self clinging or twining. The fence faces West and has some dwarf fruit trees (about 1.5m tall) growing a metre away in front of it, so it is not completely shaded

Does anyone have any advice to offer please, before I plant it in an unsuitable spot?

I moved it from the 3 ins pot into a uch larger one today, and put it in a sheltered spot out of the wind. Should be OK there for a little while I hope

I believe it needs to be in full sun. A trellis would give suitable support.

Thank you for that information. :)
