I saw a notice recently for an allotment site in Pantyffynnon ammanford and wanted details - does anyone know anything about it?  Long shot I know but car broken down so cant get back to where I saw the notice

i,m in ammanford area,glanamman to be exact.i know pantyffynon but haven,nt heard of any new allotments ,i guess its some kind of community garden like they have up my way.i,ve got a garden in council property just outside ammanford near saron if thats of any interest.amazed to see my home town come up in this forum!

If the organization in Carmarthen is anything like the one in Pembrokeshire, you would be better of doing the leg work your self such as ..... go to a allotment that you know about and asking there. Good luck.

Ive been there they look nice managed to speak to the lady who looks after them and have an appointment to choose my plot on Thursday - they have few available so we are going to go over the plan and see which Id like.  Bring it on

The two original posters who were familiar with the area have not posted for 4 and 8 years, and the thread is 8 years old, so I doubt they will see or respond to your post.

However, there may be newer members who are able to answer.

I'm moving the thread across to the Chatting on the Plot board, as it's not actually about how to grow stuff, but that shouldn't make a difference to people finding it
