After three sowing of parsnips with only the odd ones germinating I scattered a few seeds in a seed bed and just raked them in. Believe it or not this is going to be my best set of seeds sown I didn't even cover them just left them to the weather and hey presto...
Onions seem to be doing ok swelling up now peas just keep on growing potatoes look good from above but will leave for at least another week before trying them. Garlic doing ok but have got rust on some. Turnips doing ok as for beetroot radish spring onion all very poor
Leeks have just gone in still got some seedlings to grow on and replant. Runners got off to a good start and have just stopped growing . Sprouts cabbage and colliflowers doing ok.carrots doing ok on second sowing.
Shallots have just been split so will wait and see fruit bushes gooseberry no fruit blueberry no fruit rasps just flowering.
So in all a mixed bag but this is my first full season so I have nothing to compair it with.
