IMO your best bet would be to buy potted plants from a local garden centre. A few plants purchased now, preferrably already with runners, will produce runners that will increase the number of plants for a small outlay.

Bare root runners sent by post have always been dead on arrival for me.
I`m left handed, what`s your excuse?

I got some 'Irresistible' strawbs from a company on DD's recommendation last year.  They've gone bonkers.

Try a google search for them or a search on the forum for the company (can't remember that far back, could have been T&M).
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I think your right saying T&M :)
If you want to be happy for a short time - get drunk.

If you want to be happy for a long time - fall in love.

If you want to be happy forever - take up gardening!

T&M had "Elegance" runners cheap which I think were voted the favourite on Hugh F-W's programme. I've got some coming at the end of August.
The "Albion" runners I got last year are doing really well. All rooted fine.
