planting early potatos later
« on: January 28, 2011, 12:12 »
last year my first earlie's got frosted bad, however we dont rearly eat 'new pots' so this year i just got 10 tubers of red duke of york as they made great roasties,
so could i plant them later to miss the frosts without any detrimental effect?

Due to illness, last year none of my spuds got planted until mid May.

Had a great crop.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
