hi,
my cauliflowers seem not to be doing so well they are very small and the heads on them reach the size of  a golfball and then go manky, does any one know whats wrong with them

probably this mad weather   :blink:  when the curd appears use a clothes peg to cover it with two leaves

they need a lot of feed and a LOT of water, especially water, when plants are young as lack of water will check growth

Yep that's where I went wrong last year - didn't feed them enough. This year they have been fed very generously and watered well with good results.

Last year I had a good crop of cauli's, this year rubbish!!!
