I have that on the toms that I grew early and both the ones in the greenhouse and pouit side are the same with curly leaves the others that I began later are not affected. Somewhere on here I think it mentioned it was due to fluctations in day and night temps when plants were first growing. Mine are full of flower so it doesnt seem to bother them.

Nothing to worry about.

Per Doc. Hessayon if the leaves are dark green it's actually taken as a good sign.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Mine tend to curl during the daytime, next morning they are as normal, I have always assumed that it was the plants defence against the hot sun.  So as DD says no problem.

I've noticed all the toms near the louvre vent are curled while the other, planted the same time, aren't. All look healthy and have good toms forming...

I read somewhere it's a sign that the plant is too hot. I keep the greenhouse open and well ventilated at this time of year.
There's more comfrey here than you can shake a stick at!

I'm not sure what the answer is.... I have 3 different types of tomato growing in my greenhouse at the moment, but only one kind has the leaves curling.. the rest are fine.
The same happened last year and no problem with Toms.... :D

true, the toms are (or seem) unaffected. Mine had curling leaves last year and I ended up with a bumper harvest so, as long as there is no evidence of insect damage or yellowing leaves, I wouldn't overly worry about it  :)

I have 2 rows of tomatoes and the rear row tend to curl up I assumed its because they are a little hotter than the front row.  I just make sure they get a little more water as well... Everyone seems to be of the same opinion we cant be too wrong 8) (Ihope)

You should see mine - look like they've had a perm! G. Delight is the worst and it's got greenback too. I stopped using Coolglass last year as it was a pane (sorry - pain ) to get off at the end of the season. I've read about fluctuating temps and too much sun so I'll go with Coolglass next year. It always seems to start the moment I begin to feed them too.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

My toms are outside against the kitchen wall, Outdoor Girl, Alicante and, forgive me, Moneymaker and they all curl their leaves when it's hot but the crop isn't and never has been affected.  I don't think it's a problem just nature doing its' thing.
